Scholarship Cover Letters
An application acknowledgement letter is a cover letter sent to an applicant as an acknowledgement that you have received their scholarship application.
When applicants are sending you the applications for scholarships programs, they are always little bit tensed to know about the result. Sometimes, they will keep calling your organization to know if you have received the application or to know when the acceptance letters are going to be sent out. To avoid this cumbersome experience, it is convenient to send the applicants an acknowledgement letter as soon as you receive them.
At times, when the number of applicants is very large, you can also email the application acknowledgement letter. It will save you from the many spam mails and letters that you will keep on receiving otherwise. Besides, by taking this step yourself, you are creating a good impression in the minds of the public. It will be also be convenient for you and the applicants, if you mention the approximate time of releasing of the selected list of students. You can also mention any follow-up and other measures that the applicant is supposed to take.

In the meanwhile, it would be good for you if you start preparing for the secondary test that is scheduled on 1st December, 2008. You will have to go through this test only if selected for the preliminary list. While we are going through the selection procedure, we request you not to contact us unless there is something of great importance. The preliminary list will be out by 15 November 2008. If selected, we will intimate you by mail, and you will receive a hard copy of the invitation for the secondary test as well.
You can check our website for the selected list and other related information. As we are receiving many applications, we will try to send a mail to unselected candidates. It might be possible that you will not be notified, if not selected. Therefore, kindly keep checking our website for updates.
